What Are Visual Sensors and How Can They Be Disabled?

Published at:2024-06-23

Visual sensors are devices that capture and analyze visual information in the surrounding environment using cameras or infrared sensors.

In the Neomow X mower, these sensors can also identify obstacles that differ in color from the lawn, aiding in collision avoidance.

How to Disable Visual Sensors:

1. Open the Neomow X App: Ensure your Neomow X is connected to the app on your smartphone or tablet.

2. Access Settings: Navigate to the relevant settings section within the app. (Include screenshots if available).

3. Disable Visual Sensor Functionality: Locate the toggle switch to enable or disable visual sensors.

4. Save Settings: After confirming your action, save the settings to ensure visual sensors are successfully disabled.

By disabling visual sensors, the mower will rely solely on laser radar for obstacle avoidance without color recognition capabilities. This prevents potential misidentification of obstacles in low light or dimly lit environments, ensuring safe operation under basic conditions.
