Replacing the Battery

Published at:2024-07-01

You can replace the battery yourself to avoid the hassle of sending it for repairs. Follow these instructions carefully to ensure safe battery replacement. Improper handling may cause safety hazards.

1. Long press the power button until the LOGO light goes off to turn off the product.

2. Invert the machine and place it on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratching the machine's surface.

3. Use a cross-head screwdriver to loosen the 6 screws on the battery compartment cover.

4. Disconnect the connector interface.

5. Remove the battery pack and replace it with a new one.

6. Reconnect the plug and tighten all screws securely.

Notes:

1. Only use batteries recommended by HOOKII to prevent safety accidents caused by incompatible batteries. If an accident occurs due to the use of non-compatible batteries, you are responsible for the consequences.

2. The battery compartment should not be opened frequently; only open it when you need to replace the battery.

3. Battery life depends on the frequency of use and total working hours of the product. Consider replacing the battery when runtime per full charge noticeably decreases or when lawn trimming efficiency drops.

4. Warning: Use only original battery packs or HOOKII-designated batteries of the same model. Each lawn mower includes one battery pack.

5. Do not dismantle or pierce the battery casing. Keep away from metal objects to prevent short circuits. Keep away from fire, heat, and direct sunlight.

6. The battery pack contains electrolytes. If electrolyte leakage comes into contact with your skin, immediately wash with soap and water. If there is eye contact and discomfort occurs, seek medical attention.
