If your mower did not avoid an obstacle, please follow the steps below to troubleshoot the issue:
1. Check the size of the obstacle
The LiDAR sensor can detect obstacles between 10cm and 30cm in height.
Visual obstacle detection can identify obstacles below 10cm, but it is more dependent on lighting conditions and the color of the object.
If your obstacle is very small (for example, only 5cm tall), the mower relies solely on visual detection.
Obstacles that are similar in color to the lawn or in poor lighting conditions may not be accurately detected. In practice, very low obstacles may sometimes be missed.
2. Verify the obstacle avoidance height
The mower’s obstacle avoidance height can be set to 10cm, 15cm, 20cm, or 25cm.
If the avoidance height is set to 25cm, only objects taller than 25cm will be avoided.
To avoid lower obstacles, adjust the avoidance height according to the size of the objects in your lawn.
3. Contact customer support if the issue persists
If your obstacle is taller than 10cm and the avoidance height is correctly set, but the mower still fails to avoid it, please contact our support team and provide:
Photos of the obstacle (required).
A video showing the mower not avoiding the obstacle (if available).
This information will help our engineers analyze the problem and provide a solution.
