Neomow X is equipped with vision sensors, including cameras and infrared sensors. These sensors complement the mower’s LiDAR and bumper systems by providing additional environmental information to enhance obstacle detection.
What Are Vision Sensors?
Vision sensors capture and analyze the surroundings using camera imaging and infrared detection. They can:
Detect low obstacles under 10 cm.
Recognize objects that contrast with the lawn color.
These capabilities provide extra obstacle awareness, particularly in environments with complex or unusual objects.
When Should You Use Vision Sensors?
LiDAR and the front bumper handle most obstacle detection effectively, so vision sensors are usually unnecessary. You may consider enabling vision sensors in specific situations, such as lawns with very low objects, small items, or other features that require additional awareness.
How to Enable or Disable Vision Sensors?
Visual obstacle avoidance can be enabled or disabled in the Neomow X app. Disabling the Visual obstacle avoidance does not affect normal mowing performance, and the mower continues to rely on LiDAR and the bumper for obstacle avoidance.
