How to install a rain cover(garage) for the charging station?

We recommend using the Hookii-branded shelter, as it is specifically designed to ensure seamless compatibility and reliable operation of the mower.

If you wish to set up an enclosed garage (rain shelter), we recommend installing a protective cover with a minimum height of 47 cm and a width of 77 cm to ensure the safety and proper operation of the charging station. Additionally, please maintain a 2-meter clearance in front of the shelter to allow the mower to enter and exit smoothly.

If you prefer to DIY a shelter, please ensure that the roof has an angle of at least 8° when aligned with the top of the charging station. If the angle is less than 8° or completely flat, it may obstruct the V-shaped reflector (as shown in the image below), causing the LiDAR sensor to fail to detect it. This could prevent the mower from successfully returning to the charging station.
