The Neomow X2 Series supports map transfer between devices, allowing you to save a map from one mower to the HOOKII App and then import it to another mower.
For example, to transfer a map from Mower A to Mower B:
- Save the map from Mower A to the HOOKII App.
- Connect and bind Mower B to the app.
- Import the saved map from the app to Mower B.
1. Requirements and Limitations
Before transferring a map, please note the following requirements and limitations:
- Storage limit: The total storage space occupied by all maps on the mower, including backup maps, must not exceed 4 GB.
- Supported device states: Map transfer is only available when the mower is idle, in sleep mode, or charging.
- Bluetooth must remain enabled: Keep Bluetooth enabled on your phone throughout the map transfer process.
-
Ensure a stable connection: Before transferring a map, make sure your phone and mower can communicate properly using either of the following methods:
- Option 1: Wi-Fi connection. Connect both your phone and mower to the same Wi-Fi network. A 5 GHz Wi-Fi network is recommended.
- Option 2: Personal hotspot. Enable the personal hotspot on your phone and connect the mower to it.
- Map quantity limit: If the mower has already reached its maximum number of regular maps, you will not be able to import another map from the HOOKII App.
- Keep the app open: Do not switch the HOOKII App to the background or close it during the transfer. If you leave the Transferring Map page and do not return within 5 minutes, the mower will automatically cancel the transfer. The maps already stored on the mower will remain unchanged.

3. Important Notes
- Ensure sufficient battery power. Make sure the mower has enough battery power before starting the transfer. If you close the app during the transfer, the mower may remain in transfer mode for up to 5 minutes before automatically exiting.
- Avoid operating the mower from other accounts. While map transfer is in progress, the mower enters transfer mode, during which some functions may be unavailable. Other users who have access to the mower should avoid operating it during this time to prevent abnormal operation.
- Maps saved in the app are stored locally. Maps displayed on the Import Map page are stored locally on your phone. If you uninstall the HOOKII App, these saved maps will also be deleted. However, updating the app will not delete these maps.
