Why Am I Receiving 4G SIM Card Notifications?
Whenever your mower comes online, the HOOKII App checks whether its 4G SIM card service is active. If the service has expired or the SIM card is no longer active, a notification will appear in the app.
If you primarily use Wi-Fi to connect your mower, or if you are already aware that your 4G service has expired and do not need repeated reminders, you can turn off 4G SIM card notifications for that device.
How to Turn Off 4G SIM Card Notifications
Before you begin, make sure your HOOKII App is updated to version V1.1.7 or later.
Follow these steps:
- Open the HOOKII App and go to My.
- Tap Notification Settings.
- Select Device Notification Management.
- Select the device for which you want to turn off notifications.
- Turn off the 4G SIM Card notification type.
Once disabled, you will no longer receive 4G SIM card-related notifications for that device.
Important Notes
- This setting only disables 4G SIM card notifications. It does not reactivate your SIM card, renew your 4G service, or disable the mower's 4G functionality.
- If you want to use 4G connectivity, you will need to ensure that your SIM card service is active.
- You can turn notifications back on at any time by returning to the same settings page and enabling the 4G SIM Card notification type again.
