Map Elements

A map consists of four elements: Mowing Area, Passage, No-Go Zone, and Recharge Path.

• Mowing Area: Defines the boundaries of the area where the mower will operate.
• Passage: Creates a path connecting multiple mowing areas.
• No-Go Zone: Defines areas within the mowing area that the mower should not enter, such as trees, fixed tables and chairs, flower beds, lawn decorations, swimming pools, sprinklers, and other obstacles.
• Recharge Path: Defines the path for the mower to return from the mowing area to the charging station. If the charging station is located outside the mowing area, you must create a recharge path; otherwise, the map cannot be saved.

Before You Start Mapping

1. Make sure the mower and your phone have sufficient battery power before starting the mapping process.
2. Keep Bluetooth and Location Services enabled on your phone throughout the mapping process.
3. During mapping, keep a distance of less than 6 m between you and the mower.
4. The mower is not suitable for slopes steeper than 50% (27°). We recommend keeping the slope of the operating area below 31% (17°).
5. Before mapping, clear the lawn of debris such as branches, toys, cables, and stones. Fill in any holes or uneven areas to keep the ground level, and trim the grass to no more than 10 cm (approximately 4 in) in height.
6. We do not recommend creating a map in rainy weather. Water droplets on the LiDAR may interfere with its ability to detect the surrounding environment.
7. If you accidentally close the app during the mapping process, reopen it within 5 minutes to continue mapping. Otherwise, the unsaved map data will be automatically deleted.

Mapping Order

Mowing Area → No-Go Zone → Passage → Recharge Path

For first-time setup, we recommend following the order above. Since passages and recharge paths cannot be created too close to No-Go Zones, creating the No-Go Zones first allows you to confirm their locations before creating passages and recharge paths, helping avoid repeated adjustments.

Mowing Area Tips

1. Safe distance from boundaries: If there is a wall, fence, pond, or drop-off outside the lawn boundary, keep the mowing path more than 10 cm away from the boundary to avoid collisions, damage, or falling.
2. Turning angle: When remotely controlling the mower to turn, keep the turning angle greater than 90°.
3. Mowing area width: Make sure the mowing area is more than 1.5 m wide.

No-Go Zone Tips

1. When creating a No-Go Zone around an obstacle, keep a distance of at least 5 cm from the obstacle at all times.
2. Keep the No-Go Zone more than 1 m away from passages and recharge paths. Do not place the charging station around a No-Go Zone.
3. If the distance between two fixed obstacles is less than 1 m, we recommend including both obstacles in the same No-Go Zone.

Passage Creation Tips

1. Choose a passage that allows the mower to pass through smoothly. When creating a passage, if there are flower beds or bushes on both sides, try to keep the mower traveling along the center of the passage. If the mower deviates toward one side, it may encounter problems when passing through the passage later.

2. Choose a passage with flat and dry ground whenever possible. The mower can smoothly travel through an unobstructed passage with a minimum width of 65 cm. If there is a height difference of more than 3 cm anywhere along the entire path, we recommend choosing a different route to prevent the mower from getting stuck while passing through.
3. The starting point and ending point of the passage must each be located inside a mowing area.

Recharge Path Tips

1. During initial installation, if the charging station is located inside the mowing area, you do not need to create a recharge path. If the charging station is located outside the mowing area, a recharge path is required.
2. We recommend setting the starting point within the mowing area closest to the charging station. This helps the mower return to the charging station more efficiently.
3. The mower can smoothly travel to and from the charging station through an unobstructed recharge path with a minimum width of 65 cm.
4. Set the ending point of the recharge path approximately 10 cm directly in front of the charging station base.
