Regular inspection and cleaning of the blade module (blade Disc) is essential to maintain cutting performance and extend your mower’s lifespan. Grass clippings can easily build up—especially around the blade guard—reducing efficiency or even causing jams. To prevent this, we recommend cleaning the blade module every 1–2 weeks, or more frequently in dense or wet grass conditions.
Preparation Before Maintenance
Before performing any maintenance:
-
Set the blade height to 30mm in the app.
-
Power off the mower completely
-
Wear protective gloves
Blade Module Maintenance Steps
Follow these steps to safely access and clean the blade module:
-
Open the app and enter “Manual Mode.”
-
Manually adjust the blade height to 30mm within the app.
-
This height adjustment is important because the blade guard can only be pulled open when the blade is at 30mm. If this step is skipped, the blade guard may feel stuck and cannot be opened for cleaning.
-
-
Press and hold the power button until the LOGO light turns off to fully power off the mower. Wait until the blade has come to a complete stop.
-
Carefully tilt the mower onto its side (avoid turning it upside down). We recommend placing the mower on a soft mat or towel before flipping it to avoid scratching.
-
Manually open the blade guard. Use a low-pressure water hose to rinse off grass clippings and debris from the underside of the blade guard.
-
⚠️ Do not use a high-pressure washer.
-
⚠️ Do not apply any cleaning chemicals or solvents.
-
-
After cleaning, re-enter Manual Mode via the app. The mower will automatically recalibrate the blade height back to its highest position.
