The charging station can be installed either indoors or outdoors. Please follow the steps below for proper installation to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Step 1: Choose a Suitable Location
Ensure the charging station is level with the ground, with a tilt of no more than 5° in any direction.
Indoor installation:
Avoid uneven or sloped surfaces.
Outdoor installation:
Avoid soft soil that may cause the station to sink.
If installing on a lawn, the charging station may slightly sink over time. To prevent this, place an extension base in front of the station or use bricks/wooden boards to maintain a level surface.
Step 2: Allow Adequate Space
Keep 0.5 m of clearance on both sides of the charging station.
Keep 2 m of clearance in front of the charging station.
If placing against a wall, ensure at least 20 cm of space between the back of the station and the wall.
Step 3: Install the Charging Station
Place the charging station at the selected location.
Connect the adapter and power cord to the station. (If it is necessary to connect an extension cable, connect power port to the extension cable first, and then connect the power adapter.)
Step 4: Secure the Charging Station
Indoor installation:
Use tape to fix the station’s base to a hard cement surface.
Outdoor installation:
Use ground nails to secure the station to the lawn.
Important Notes
-
If you need to move the charging station, the new location must also meet the above requirements.
Move distance < 20 cm: You can move the station directly.
Move distance > 20 cm: After moving, redraw the recharge path on the map, otherwise the mower cannot return to the station.
If installing outdoors and planning to add a garage or rain cover, please refer to this article: How to install a rain cover(garage) for the charging station?.
For optimal performance, place the charging station within 500m of the mowing area to ensure efficient charging and avoid the mower running out of power on its way back.
